You're never gonna believe this!
So, we've been getting a lot of snow in our area, and the run-off from the melt has been tearing our driveway apart. I was a little frustrated, but this morning, I noticed a funny-looking rock in one of the eroded areas. I brought my family out, and we started digging.
What we found didn't disappoint!
So far, it looks like some sort of spinosaur. I didn't even know those lived this far west. The snout is long enough, but the nostrils are too far down and forward the animal to be water-based. There aren't any other fossils in the area, and I'm no good at dating rocks. If anyone knows any tips on how to detect carbon-uranium ratios, please let me know as soon as you can!
