Andfangol- the Guardian

Little known fact: Dragons make very good neighbors.
That is, if you have the right dragon.
Here is Andfangol, protector of the Lǽne family. He lives in a world of domesticated dragons, and each one is chosen as the protector of a certain heritage. As they live for centuries on end, this isn't too big of a problem. What IS a problem, however, is that it's very hard to feed an elephant-sized carnivore. This is where the "paths" of good and evil diverge. The more charitable families simply give it livestock once a week. The cynical people such as war-ridden knights, commit human sacrifices. Not a good thing to do when every ten people have a dragon as a guardian.
