Vulcan's Forge - Part 2

... and it wasn't alone.
An unknown carnivore suddenly comes into the frame. We don't know anything about what he looks like or where he came from, only that he was hungry. He may have been following this lone herbivore for days, waiting for the opportune moment. However, as the sky grew dark, the air grew thick, and the ground began to boil, it began to occur to him that the moment may never come. His world was ending- he needed to strike now.
The ground trembles as the earth spills its fire. For a brief second, the Vulcanodon is off-balance.
This is all the opportunist needs...
