Hearts of Darkness
We know how toxic it is. It was made very clear that we should be afraid of it. Monsters hide and wait to devour anyone off the beaten path. Yet, for some reason, we go deeper into it. Something calls and draws us ever closer. Why do we go to the places where we should not go?
It's wonder. It's the hope that it's not a pit, but a tunnel. It's for the thought that something more valuable than what we have is just beyond. It's for the want of experience- to live an adventure like nothing ever seen. It's what keeps us all together and sets everything in motion.
