San Andreas Mountains
Before anybody comments, I already got a few hints about where I got my own name from, and NO, it's not from Grand Theft Auto.
It was more or less derived from my map of future earth, in which the San Andreas fault is closed by temporal paradox, driving the rocky mountains up to rival the Himalayas. Still young, the range still features many jagged peaks, treacherous and improbably steep cliffs, and irregular surges in volcanic activity.
Unfitting for civilization, you may say, but perfectly suitable for those who evolved without it.
Painted in Watercolor, slightly edited in Photoshop
