Martian Sentinel

This is slightly based of the Martian Attack Tripods from H.G. Well's War of the Worlds. (Fantastic book, by the way.) Think of it as a prelude to the book. They are slowly and surely drawing their plans against us. I wondered, if the tripods were able to operate perfectly on our planet with no problems, then the Martians must have been geniuses. They must have been running through test drive after test drive trying to get it right. So, here's an image of one in the middle of it.
