Alloraptor magnus: From the Shadows

You ever get one of those ideas so awesome that you have to draw it again? Well, here is the Alloraptor drone in all of its glory once again.
You'll notice a few things about the drones this time. For example: their wings are gone. Well, they haven't disappeared entirely, per se. The way I saw it, if claws can be retractable, why can't wings? Or feet? I also realized something for myself while studying my vast collections of drawings for this creature. It has a hole on the side of its head for eyes, but no eyes. Maybe these are used to house electomagnetic sensors and tracers as in sharks. If this was true, it could not only communicate with the rest of the hive easily enough, but it could act as an internal radar; feeling the prey animals before it can even see them.

Another thing: the two seem completely different now, but with the same overall form. Make a note, all concept artists, try the same form, but experiment with as many adaptations and techniques as you can.
Drawn by pencil on paper, edited in Photoshop.
