EDIT: It is worth mentioning that John Glenn, first American to be put in orbit around the Earth and oldest person to enter space, passed away yesterday, December 8th. I was busy studying for Finals this week and didn't find out until about three hours after I posted this. Even so, he is worth remembering as inspiration to explore and push boundaries for the benefit of everybody on this little speck of dust.
...and I told myself I wouldn't get pretentious!
Here's to you, John Glenn. Never a missile-man more steely-eyed.
