Eadochas

"The Lurking Lair that is always there.
At the Peak of Corruption and the Pit of Dispair
The Place be found, but only to the lost;
the Great Castle Thryd and the Guardian Eadochas.

Two lonely peaks hold Thryd E'rlasting,
A third holds Eadochas, clouds o'rcasting
The bottomless below and the sky with fear,
For Evil and Sorrow reign triumphant here.

The thing you want most may sojourn therein
But the rest was never to be seen by live men.
For Eadochas is keeper, and if by thought or sound
Spies you, Your very soul can he ground.

What else is beyond? We'll only surmise
Even worse demons beheld by none's eyes,
For of all the men who to the peak have been sent
Have by Eadochas' fierce eyes been sore rent.

All will find their way to Thryd's Grotesque Peak,
The searching and Sure, the Warriors and Meek.
The unbelieving will find the mountains stand true.
Its beast Eadochas sees all...
