Happy Chinese New Year!

I know it's supposed to be taken seriously, but I always found goats to be a bit comedic, especially after 2013's infamous so-bad-it's-good indie game "Goat Simulator".
Actually, there's some interesting lore and research behind this. This year is the year of the wood goat- a cycle that only occurs once every sixty years between the five Chinese elements. according to legend, those born during this year are normally calm and gentle, showing a higher capacity for empathy than other zodiac years. They are also known for their sociability and creativity, although they don't usually enjoy being the center of attention. Also, since the word for this year (羊, pronounced yáng) is generic, nobody truly knows if this is supposed to be the year of the goat, ram, sheep, antelope, or deer.
It may be a good time to say that, during most of this lunar year, my schedule will be much more full than it usually is. As such, blog posts may become slightly more irregular. As far as we can tell here, though, we will still be posting as much as we can. More information will come as the situation develops.
