(Kind of) Independence Day, 2013

Sorry about the late Independence Day post. I had family in town for Thursday and took a day off yesterday. (Es war nur meine Geburtstag!) In short, I'm barely getting enough time to post this today. The quality might not be quite as high, but what do you get when holidays role around? Not as much free time as you'd expect.
Anyways, this last Thursday was a day intended to celebrate the birth of the United States, the brave rebels who gave their lives to its creation, the constitution that defined its laws, and the people since then who stood up for what it believed in- political freedom and fair justice for all.
