Aural Fragment - More Real Talk

I think it's safe to say that a lot of my fans and followers are into one of the five STEAM fields (i.e., science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) and are having a hard time dealing with modern events. These areas may seem disparate, but they certainly share a need to be in specific locations at specific times, as well as a need for community. Lock yourself in your house all day every day, and there's simply not much you can do. Even worse: you may even feel like you can't complain about it since this lockdown is perfectly justified in the face of global crisis. Put that with comparison to people who are able to earn pay in the middle of all this, and I'm guessing a lot of you have recipes for depression.
I don't have any professional advice for that (after all, I'm an artist/ geologist, not a psychiatrist), but I can certainly say that, behind the loneliness and doom-and-gloom, there still is a strong community here for you. After all, one of the founding principles of this site is that progress can still be made in the face of overwhelming odds. If you ever need someone to talk to or, to a lesser extent, someone to make cool drawings of space and dinosaurs for you, you know whom to turn to. After all, art, science, and adventure are the three inconsistent constants of the universe, and we'll see them through no matter what here.
