Christmas Eve- Moonlight

This was inspired by a cloud formation I found last night.
After I saw it, it got me thinking. What's with all the ideas of Christmas? Why does nearly everyone associated with the holiday a recluse who has made one major appearance and then was never seen or heard from again? Why all the questions over if anything about Christmas even exists?
Then I realized: maybe that's what they want. Maybe they want people to think about greater mysteries out there, something larger than themselves. Maybe they want to show the impossible to help us conceive something improbable. If you're right, then you know what you or your heroes can do. If you're wrong- well, nothing monumental came on earth to those who realized that they were wrong.
There are a few words for that.
Strength.
Courage.
Belief.
